Excellent- A book with this rating looks as though it could have come directly off a new book stores shelf.

Very Good - This is the most common rating in the store. These books are in extremely good shape though they might have very slight defects such as a small crease in one corner or the cover barely worn.

Good - These books are very good used books but have obviously been read before. They could have several flaws such as a slighty torn cover, writing inside, or worn covers and pages.

Fair to Good- There are problems with these books such as torn covers and or pages, writing inside or out, broken spines or slight water damage.

Fair- These books have got some real problems. All the pages to the story are there, but other than that, they are in real rough shape.
